WHAT WE DO
We supply all of the art materials and direct the art activity for your party. Our art party instructor is a certified Art Education Professional. Depending on the age of the young artists and how many children involved, additional party aids may help out. We will set up and clean up everything for the art activity. Please see what is needed below.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Lots of excitement, fun, and creativity. Our purpose is to provide a truly unique art experience in a fun, group setting. All party participants will return home with a finished work of art to remember your child's birthday.
WHAT IS NEEDED
-Table or workspace for the art activity (large enough for all participants).
-Access to sink or water supply (for most art activities).
-Additional adult supervision (Our job is to provide the experience, materials, and facilitate the activity for all participant enjoyment).
PARTY PROJECTS/THEMES
Totally Tie-Dye T-Shirts (Ages 6+)
Learn how to tie-dye in a variety of colors to create a one-of-a-kind shirt. Already know how to tie-dye? That is great! Learn new ways to fold and dye shirts for different looks and patterns unique to your wardrobe. Artists may choose from up to four colors. Shirts or pillow cases will be provided upon request.
Shaving Cream Marbling (Ages 6+)
Who knew shaving cream could help create a work of art? Try your hand at this unique way to marble paper using shaving cream and watercolor paint! Get bright, vivid colors and learn crazy patterns for marbled paper. You will create work not only on paper, but greeting cards, stationary, and gift tags!
Chiyogami Glass Pendants and Magnets (Ages 8+)
Create your own glass pendants and magnets using glass tiles and Japanese Chiyogami Paper. Chiyogami is Japanese paper that has been decorated with elaborate patterns and colors for a unique look! Your artists will create a glass pendants or three glass magnets (that hold up to 15 sheets of paper at once) during this session. Additional pendants and magnet sets can be made for $5 each per artist, perfect to give as gifts!
Pinatas (Ages 7+)
Mexico is known for their cultural flavor and colorful decorations. Your artists will create their own pinata from newspaper and paper mache glue! Tissue paper will be used to decorate the outside for a colorful and festive flair! A large pinata with candy will be provided for guests to break.
Beginning Printmaking (Ages 6+)
Artists will learn the basics of printmaking and explore different ways to create art using line and pattern. Each artist will create a foam block design to be printed. In addition to creating artwork on paper, your artist will create a greeting card set using their designs. What a perfect way to share their creations with friends and family!
